I use Gmail for both personal (skip.montanaro at gmail.com) and work (skip
at mumblemumble.com) email. A few days ago, I got a mail from work telling
me it had been awhile since I had last changed my password. Being the
obliging drone that I am, and not wanting to get any more virtual slaps on
the wrist about my slothful password changing habits, I changed my
password. Then I went to Gmail and changed my password for skip at
mumblemumble.com. Gmail verified that it could connect with my new
credentials.

At first, I thought everything was peachy, but mail I sent from Gmail using
my mumblemumble.com address would sometimes bounce. Not always, but
frequently enough to be a royal PITA. It's been about a week now, and this
problem still pops up several times a day. It appears that some of Gmail's
servers still have my old credentials cached.

I'm sure Google has about a bazillion MTAs, but shouldn't they have all
picked up my new credentials by now? Any suggestions for how I can force
them to finish flushing their caches?

Thx,

Skip
