Hmm this is weird but I have the same problem as you describe...no reaction when I click the bookmars star in FF3.01, nothing happens if I use the normal FF add to bookmarks option either. After reading this I tried the cookies thing but discovered I ALREADY had that enabled so it wasn't anything to do with that. I finally relented and disabled gmarks in the addons dialogue and restarted FF. Bookmarks were now working..all back tro normal. That was yesterday. today I was just browsing around there and tried to bookmark a site..yep, nothing happened. so I now think this is nothing to do with gmarks and must be either a bug or another addon. Of course there is always the possibility that even when gmarks is disabled it has settings left in the firefox config that is making this happen...
