My current problem with Gmarks is similar to this, and I can't explain
it. First of all, the extension won't save my username/password no
matter how many times I tell it to. The box is checked for
"Automatically sign in." Upon closing Firefox however, the username
and password fields clear out. The box remains checked however.

Also, upon starting up Firefox I get an Authentication Required pop-up
that has to be related to Gmarks. When I select the option "Sign In"
from the Gmarks dropdown menu, it asks me for my username/password
(incidentally I also check the box for it to remember the info, which
doesn't happen; see above) so I input that and then I immediately get
this Authentication Required pop-up where I have to put in my Google
account info again. The second box is asking for username/password
from https://www.google.com and it reads "The site says: 'Google
Search History'". I do not get this window without Gmarks.

This is a pretty vexing issue as not only does the extension appear to
not work for me, but the second request for authentication seems like
overkill. I don't know if that's Gmarks or Google, but it definitely
doesn't happen without the extension.

Thanks.
