Do you still see the favorites label in the gmarks sidebar and/or menu? how about online? If you open the customize window (View>Toolbars>Customize) do you see the gmarks toolbar there? maybe you need to add it to the toolbar again?. If you remove the favorites label for the toolbar in gmarks options do you see a 'Bookmarks' dropdown menu with all your gmarks listed? If you don't see anything gmarks related on the toolbar like that try resetting the firefox toolbar settings. Go to View>Toolbars>Customize and select 'Reset Default Set'. Alternatively, delete the localstore.rdf in the firefox profile folder and restart Firefox. Then readd all your toolbar items.
