Thanks Steve. That worked. I had to put in full privileges in that directory.
I got another error noted in the event window at bottom right at startup, as noted below. It seems to run with a sample Hohmann transfer script. Should I comment out this line in the startup file? Which line? Thanks again. From: Cooley, D S. (GSFC-5950) <d.s.coo...@nasa.gov> Sent: Monday, March 11, 2024 2:22 PM To: mwp8...@gmail.com; gmat-users@lists.sourceforge.net Cc: Milner, Barbara C. Here are some ideas to try: 1. Get a fresh zip file from SourceForge, https://sourceforge.net/projects/gmat/files/latest/download 2. Download it to your documents directory. Make sure you have full write permissions there. (I think you should by default) 3. Unzip. 4. Make sure the directory specified in the error message exists. If not, create it yourself. 5. If you get that error after running a script, send us the script you used as well. This was after I move the files to my "documents" directory also. Any advice on where else to look to fix this? Thanks. From: Cooley, D S. I am not familiar with that error message. Could it be related to write privileges to the C drive? Perhaps, you could install GMAT in your "documents" or other directory. If that doesn't work, can you send us more information about the error, perhaps including a screen snap of the error message received. When I try to run the GMAT application file after unzipping and putting the files onto the C drive I am getting an error message; "OTHER_POT_PATCH = C:\GMAT 2022\bin\..\data\gravity\other. I am using Windows 10 Pro. Not sure how to get around this.
