Hello! I am new to gmsh and I am trying to build very simple 3D FEM mesh for the sphere. I have downloaded latest version of gmsh (2.5.0), next I downloaded sphere geometry from the wiki: https://geuz.org/trac/gmsh/attachment/wiki/OldExamples/sphere.geo, loaded geometry and just click on the Mesh/3D button.
The 2D mesh was created successfully. But I cannot see 3D mesh. The Tools/Statistics shows that there no tetrahedra was created. Could you please help me, what is the problem and how to create 3D FEM mesh for the sphere? Thank you, Alexander.
