Hi Philippe - Read the tutorials; they will explain (e.g. in t3.geo) that
Extrude returns the list of newly created entities.
In this case:
tmp[] = Extrude {0,0.0,1} { Surface{6}; };
Physical Volume(1) = tmp[1];
