Hi,

have a look in the gmsh manual, particularly chapter 9.1
(http://www.geuz.org/gmsh/doc/texinfo/gmsh.html#MSH-ASCII-file-format<http://www.geuz.org/gmsh/doc/texinfo/gmsh.html%23MSH-ASCII-file-format>).
This might give a part of the information you are looking for.

HTH,

Matthias

Betreff: [Gmsh] Parametric Description of Higher Order Curvilinear Tetrahedra
generated by gush ?

Dear gmsh,

I realised that gmsh is capable of generating higher order curvilinear
tetrahedral elements.

Is there a description available which gives precise instructions on these
elements,
particularly, how would I compute the coordinate locations of such an elements,
i.e. its parametric volume description ?

thanks a lot for some hints, greetings, Benedikt
