Hi,

the outer volume contains the surface of the airofoil since the airofoil is
regarded as hole in the outer volume. As far as I have seen, all surfaces are
meshed. Now how to transfer this mesh into OpenFoam I don't know. You might to
check "save all (ignore physical groups)" when saving the mesh.

HTH,

Matthias

thank you sir^^. hmm.. one more question.. i have look through the geo file,
does sir, you have combine the parts of the surface of aerofoil and part
surface of the domain to form a volume? Because somehow when transfer the mesh
file into OpenFoam, the surface of the aerofoil appear to be not being
meshed...is there an issue that when i save the mesh file, somehow there will
be some surface will be gone, and i need go to the mesh file and add them in?

Hi,

you surfaces and volumes wer somehow ill-defined. I have redefined them with
the GUI, and the 3D meshing works.

good day every one... currently i have use gmsh as my meshing tools, and the
geometry that i wan to mesh is a 3D geometry, after click at the "3D" button,
it appear that meshing only take out at the surface, but the internal part of
the geometry appear to be not being meshed....

the first image show how my surface mesh looks like, but when look at the
second image, can be seen that inside the model is totally blank.. if i not
judge wrongly it mean the 3d mesh is not carried out...

can anyone can give me some opinion about what is the causes of this issue?
and did i left out anything in my geo file, hope every one kindly can help me
out...
here i have attach my geo file and the image of the error
