Hi, I have just installed gmsh and am learning to use the software. I am running on a Windows 7 64-bit machine with notepad.exe installed. In the Geometry module, when I select "Edit file" I get this error message:
Unable to open file 'notepad.exe' I followed your instructions in response to a similar query ( http://www.geuz.org/pipermail/gmsh/2014/008981.html) Tools > Options > Advanced > Text editor command: default is "notepad.exe %s" You specified "it should point to a binary file launching the notepad". Can you explain what this means? Do I need to modify the default Text editor command? Thanks for your help, Drew Geophysics, University of Wyoming
