Hi,

I get a crash when I try to 3D-mesh your geometry (gmsh 2.8.5, Windoze 7). So I 
cannot really see what happens. Before doing the 3D mesh, you could have a look 
at the 2D mesh to see if it corresponds to what you expect. If 3D meshing 
fails, gmsh normally creates a file with intersections (intersect.pos if I 
remember correctly), which you can merge to your geometry to see where the 
self-intersections are.
