Hi Aaron,

1) you call this geo from command line or load it from the gui.

Merge "/tmp/2c.step";
//Coherence;
Print "/tmp/c2.geo";

2) you use geo unrolled format in the save as menu after import from command line or load menu.

Gents,

I’m attempting to edit a .geo file that I imported as a .step from Solidworks using the GUI in GMSH 2.11.  I’d like to display the surfaces

3) Use Tools->options->Mesh or Geometry->Visibility in Gui
 -see the video tutorial for it as well.
  -use reset viewport mouse context menu, helped sometimes.
- you find everything as non-gui, too.

4) use "Reload" to view your changes, there is as well an embedded editor, though ...

as shaded solids so I know which ones I’m selecting.  The ‘solid’ surface display is selected in the geometry/visibility tab but GMSH appears to be showing the ‘wireframe’ or maybe the ‘cross’ surface display?

Thanks in advance,

Good Luck
