Hi folks I wanted to share with you a development I a working on. It is a web-based frontend for CAE analysis running on the cloud. Of course, it uses Gmsh for the grid generation.
You can find a description and some videos at www.caeplex.com There is a Live Preview Demo that can be used online to solve structural analysis problems. There are six predefined geometries (the full version will allow to use any IGES/STEP/BREP file) but the interface will let you define arbitrary boundary conditions and volumetric forces: www.caeplex.com/demo If you test the platform, any feedback is welcome. Sorry for bothering with this on the list but I thought this was a nice application of Gmsh, and may serve to flatten its learning curve.
