Hi Orlando,

I invite you to take a look at tutorial t13.geo in Gmsh documentation 
here<http://gmsh.info/doc/texinfo/gmsh.html#t13_002egeo>. If I understand your 
issue correctly, copy-pasting that tutorial should be almost everything you 
need to do. Simply change the initial mesh to merge for an STL export of your 
surface. You also have to change the value assigned to Field[1].F for the 
characteristic length you want your mesh to have. Eventually, if you want 
second order tetrahedrons, you will need add somewhere in the script file the 
command : Mesh.ElementOrder = 2 ;.

I need your help

I have a closed surface  defined by a triangles.  What I have are the node 
coordinates  and a connectivity   table ,   (  I can produce  abaqus or stl or 
vtk format )

Node1  X1 Y1 Z1
Node2  X2 Y2 Z2
....
Noden  Xn Yn Zn

Triangle1 Node1 Node2 Node3
Triangle2 Node3 Node4 Node5
...

Could it be possible to use gmsh to generate a  Tet mesh  second order ?
Any hint ,  comment , link or example will be warmly welcome  !!
