Looking at this bug:
bug #26928: Stuttering media playback due to blocking reads when parsing
It was filed in July of 2009, but it has always been like this for
me. Watching anything streaming with gnash is very frustrating, cause it
stops every 2 second to buffer data.
I've heard there was a patch for this, but that it somehow broke
something else?.
Any pointers as to what I can try?.
