I have even tried to manually disable the output :
(II) SMI(0): Output LVDS connected
(II) SMI(0): Output VGA disabled by config file
But.. same behavior....
You have the same chipset, I presume :

Do you think that the pmon version might have something to do with this
connected/no connected issue and this flickering prob ?
