I'm trying to install gNewsense mips port on my Yeeloong 8089B laptop. I connected the laptop and my NAT router with a LAN cable and followed the instructions described in http://wiki.gnewsense.org/Projects/GNewSenseToMIPS. The Debian installer showed up and configured the network device via DHCP successfully, but it failed when it tried to download files from the mirror. I could not change the mirror from which to download files, because the download of the file that contains the list of all the available mirrors failed too.
I think my NAT router is working properly since I can download files on the Internet from other computers connected to the router. What is wrong with my installation process? I would appreciate your help. -- ziro <[email protected]> _______________________________________________ gNewSense-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/gnewsense-users
