I've got a widescreen that runs 1680x1050, but I think a lot of the difficulties may be the same. I turned off the DDC options for both the video card and display, hard-coded the timings (which I found online), and used 915resolution, which is necessary to get some common Intel cards to support resolutions other than your typical ones. Some combination of these tactics will likely work for you, but it's a bit of trial and error unfortunately (or at least always has been for me). -N _______________________________________________ gnhlug-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnhlug.org/mailman/listinfo/gnhlug-discuss/
