Asoundconf is a short script that easily manages the default sound card. Since
the introduction of pulseaudio, it's been removed from alsa-utils, but there's
been enough fuss (started by me) to either get it back as part of alsa-utils,
or make it part of a separate package (either asoundconf-gtk or asoundconf-ui).

The script was a Ubuntu product. It wasn't originally a part of Debian. So,
Ubuntu's now looking for a Debian maintainer.

I'd do it if I knew what I was doing, but I don't so I can't.
