I was hoping to make it over to the meeting tonight, but I've got a raging head cold so I've decided to stay home and recuperate instead of coming to share it...

Hopefully I'll be able to make it to future meetings - I know that next Wednesday is our annual town meeting, so that's a conflict, but after that I should be able to keep Wednesdays free.

FWIW, I'd strongly favor ending between 9 and 10, certainly no later than 10pm - it's about two hours for me to drive home, so anything later is really undesirable.  Likewise, I wouldn't want to spend all the travel time for a meeting that's too short to be worthwhile, so planning to wrap up a little after 9 seems reasonable.

Current update on AppGen is that I received some additional material from them, mostly reprints of a Linux Journal story on them, so we have some good handouts to go with the demo.  The demo software that I have is a CD-ROM with a "professional edition" of their package (read, single local user version).  They also have a client-server version, that would only be available for demo through their VAR program (I'm investigating that, might be able to get it set up in time for the show).  I'm working on loading the demo CD-ROM on my home system, as soon as I finish I'll send mail with an update describing my experiences with it.  For now I'd expect that we'll want to use that single-user version as the demo, if only because the client-server version would make the logistics significantly more cumbersome.  I'll send more when I know more.

Last time we got kicked out at 10pm.  I know I'd like to leave by 10pm :)

Perhaps we should shoot for 9 or 9:30?  Since it's the second meeting
we haven't worked out all the details yet.
