Good Morning everyone,
I am forwarding my idea, brought to life by Maria once again, to run the
idea by you before the June 28th meeting on the formation of the 2001 LBS,
which I am suggesting be changed to bring everyone interested in Linux
together at one show. The Business sector would still be the larger of the
emphasis on Linux with the desktop and gaming the secondary venues.
I am already trying to line up speakers for the Keynote and also one of the
people involved in the Linux development team frm the movie Titanic.
Obviously I am but one person involved in this and all of your input is
necessary before anything is finalized which is the reason for the meeting
in the first place. I have a list of pros and cons and why I think this
direction is necessary that I would be happy to share with one and all
before the meeting if given a day to put it into some kind of readable form.
The second part of my idea is to do a mini-event like this at the NUN at
Keene State College in Oct, using it as the building platform for May of
next year ( if that is when we hold the next LBS).
