I agree with this statement completely. (or, in AOLese, Me too! :)
The headers, i.e. the From, To, Cc, and Subject lines contain all the
information one needs to pre- or post-process list e-mail.
When the headers are insufficient, the body is available.
If you can't sort on that information, then either you're doing
something wrong, or your sorting mechanism needs to be replaced with
something better.
