I've whipped up a mock-up in the meantime, it's at: http://www.blackavar.com/~ben/gnhlug_banner.gif - I'm a function over form guy, so if anyone would like to improve upon it or tell me what to improve, I'd be glad to get that done. As soon as I have the original logo, I'll clean that up. Currently, it's just a scaled version of the little one (which makes it look chunky).
