Anyone who has been watching the GNHLUG website the past month or so knows
that I've been revamping it. Well, I've started to really go hog-wild on
that project. My goal is to make the GNHLUG website a much more accessible
information resource, for both GNHLUG itself and Linux.

I will be doing a lot of edits to remove embedded HTML and make it as
purely Wiki as possible. It is not that I think Wiki is the best thing
ever. Rather, my thinking is: Wiki is what we have to work with; let's
embrace it. In for a penny...

My general design approach, right now, is minimalist. I will be adding
things like the logo back in shortly. I am trying to make the whole GNHLUG
Wiki very clean and simple, in an effort to encourage contributions, and
just to make it easier to manage. TWiki, like most things, works best if
you don't fight it.

If you look at what's up on the site right now, you'll see that I've got
quite a bit going on, and things are a bit of a mess. I'm sorry about that.
Hopefully the major structure will get sorted out within the next couple of
days.

My general plan for the structure is:

  - The "Www" (AKA "Public") TWiki Web will be the major part of the GNHLUG
web site. It will contain information on GNHLUG, introductory
material about Linux and Free/Open Source Software, and links to
other resources out on the web. Such info that is currently in other
webs will be moved to this web.

  - The "Organizational" web will remain largely as-is, although I will be
going through and cleaning it up as well. This web contains the
    administrivia and planning stuff.

  - The "GNHLUG" and "Linux" webs will be phased out, or rather, phased
into the "Www" web, and deleted.

  - The "Know" web, which has been orphaned from the start, will be
    deleted.

  - The "Main" web will contain only TWiki user Topic pages, and the
list of other webs. This is to keep things clean. Already this web
is rather full, due to the fact that every user gets a Topic page.

  - The "Test" and "TWiki" webs will remain as they are.

  - In the future, if we get a lot of contributed material, we can
create a new web if we need to. Right now, I've decided to focus
    on simplicity.

  Comments are welcomed.

  Cheers,
