I'd like to hold off and discuss this at the autumnal summit.
My belief is that most people don't want administrivia mixed in with the "meat" of the web site, which will be a [perhaps undesired] result of merging the two webs.
Perhaps putting a link to Organization.WebHome on the main page will make it easier to find?
I believe this is related to the age-old gripe that its too hard to separate administrivia (or organizational overhead) from what "I" want (for whoever "I" is). Which is related to the age-old saying of "democracy doesn't come for free". (Believe it or not Ben, that quote bolsters your argument.)

Hey all, I want to move all the content currently in the GNHLUG TWiki web "Organizational" to the "Www" web. A repeated issue has been that people don't find the Organizational web; I hope to make it easier to find this way. This separate web has also created one of those artificial administrative divisions that create overhead without sufficient gain (the kind I've been campaining against lately). I'm willing to do all the work here. I don't expect this to be very hard (just a rather ironically manual process for an automated information system). Most of the names are pretty unique. I might need to merge a few topics and rename a few more, but that's for the better (and indeed a reason why). So, unless anybody objects (or has a better idea), I intend to undertake this task some time in the next several days. Speak now or forever hold your peace. :) -- Ben "And I said a GNHLUG Wiki would never be used" Scott _______________________________________________ gnhlug-org mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnhlug.org/mailman/listinfo/gnhlug-org
