Heh. I love the web. I went to look up what "Ontologies" meant with
Google. I clicked on "definition" and got sent to "Answers.com", which is
just a rip-off of Wikipedia. So I went to Wikipedia. It had a link to a
transcript of the above! :-) See:

I welcome further discussion and dissenting opinions, both online and/or
in meatspace meetings.
Bear in mind there are three webs: Main, Www and Organizational. All have
mixed topics, some duplicated.
Actually, there are *six* webs on the GNHLUG wiki: Main, TWiki,
Organizational, Sandbox, Www, and Trash. There used to be nine, but Bruce
dropped the three completely empty ones when he upgraded the software
recently.
I think we should have, at most, the following five:
Main - TWiki system stuff (mainly TWiki user pages)
TWiki - Mirror of TWiki site; consider "read-only"
Trash - Self-explanatory
Sandbox - Everything enabled, nothing restricted, no fear of damage
GNHLUG - All our stuff
As I said, I'm contemplating the thought of moving the GNHLUG content into
the Main web, and just having the four webs.
Reasons to have separate GNHLUG and Main webs:
- There do tend to be a lot of user pages
- Makes it easier to find user accounts and TWiki "system stuff"
Reasons to have just one Main web:
- No danger of a namespace conflict (OurChapters vs BenScott) for users
- Having a lot of pages in a web does not mean chaos
- Our people are as important as anything else
- It makes linking people to pages easier (no "Main." prefix)
- Simplicity
