Hi everybody, There was a lot of interest in the MythTV presentation last week. Quite a few people had "how do I make it work" sorts of questions. Some with existing setups which didn't do everything they want (or anything at all); others who were just getting started and wanted help.
I'm thinking, as a follow-on, it might be good to have a MythTV installfest. Pick some reasonably central location (or multiple locations). Pick a time which is good for an installfest. Late evenings tend to be not-so-good for this sort of thing. Weekend mid-day, perhaps? Arrange a facility with lots of tables, Internet access, and RF sources. Announce well in advance. Have everybody bring their Myth boxes (or piles of hardware trying to be a Myth box) and we can all help each other get stuff working.
