Hello,

I get a snow day so this is being sent from home.

Here is the news I promised for yesterday about the happenings from our last
Thursday night GNHLUG Steering Committee meeting.

The GNHLUG will put on 4 meetings a year with the best speakers we can get. The
meetings will be held in Feb - May - Aug - Nov. We are doing tentative scheduling
for the 4th Wed of the month, but because of possible speaker conflicts we are
leaving the actual dates open until we have the speaker set on dates available.
The other discussion is where to hold the GNHLUG meetings. The choices are: Do we
keep the meetings in one location (and where), or do we move the 4 meetings
around to different locations. This discussion is on-going at the present time.

The tentative date for the Feb meeting is Feb 23,2000

I told you earlier that the logo presented by Josh Flythe and his wife Maria was
accepted as the GNHLUG logo. Maria is also working on some different looks to the
logo. I have some gifs forwarded from Josh I will put up today. The discussion
also concerned meeting dates for the different Chapters being established. We all
felt that each Chapter set it's own meeting schedules, but thought it best if
each Chapter tried to hold the meetings on a night other than one already
selected by another Chapter.

Meeting dates selected so far. First Thursday of each month - Monadlug
Third Thursday of each month -
Merrimack
just selected last night Second Monday of each month - Seacoast
looks like a decision soon -
Concord/Laconia

The BUN and NUN meetings are separate meetings from the 4 general GNHLUG
meetings. The news from the BUN group is that they are doing their planning now.
If anyone who wants to assist in organizing, material providing, presenting, or
just helping who hasn't been contacted by the BUN group, please send an email to
either Lori Hitchcock ([EMAIL PROTECTED]), Bruce McCulley
([EMAIL PROTECTED]), or Rick Petree ([EMAIL PROTECTED]).
