Rereading this, I don't want to sound negative - this is a great start, now we
just need some more connectivity.  I'm going to ask tonight on the GNOME lists
if anyone's working on something.  My idea is to read from the xpad, store the
data in vector format (connect to Dia maybe to allow that to be used for
editing), and also find out if anyone's working on OCR for Linux.

Thanks.  Actually, appears to be a perl tool to read IBM .nbk files
(the data format for the crosspad) into postscript.  Useful if you've
already got the data out of the xpad via  a windows machine, and mount
the windows drive on the Linux machine.  Unfortunately, I can't get
the software to install under Wine yet, to trace the communications
between the pad and the sw.
