Just a note - it's fixed now. The main sysadmin just came in and grabbed
the correct rescue disks, we mounted the root partition by hand, and
deleted the ld.so.preload file, which had the entry for that cygnus
library, that had to be preloaded. Apparently he installed codefusion the
other day and some of the libraries needed to be preinstalled. However,
the directory was on a partition that hadn't been mounted at that stage of
the boot!
