Hello everyone. I see that most of the same folks are here as well as
some new ones. Life took a little twist earlier this year and forced me
to abandon Linux and my newsgroups and what not. Back at it finally.
As much as this is blasphemous, but I do not have my Linux box up and
running yet (not for at least a month for parts) but I am planning on
learning (at least start) Perl. How different is Linux Perl compared to
(yuch) Perl for Win32. I plan on starting on Win 32 due to the fact
that I have a Win 95/NT system (dual drives).
Also, is there anyone in the Newport NH area (within a reasonable
distance) that is fairly knowledgeable in Perl that might want to give
some lessons/tutorials. When I get my box up and running, I plan on
networking it w/ my Win box and eventually having my NT on its own
system and have a 3 computer/OS network and start putting this stuff to
use.
