O.k. in all seriousness, it looks like you simply need to install IMAP or
cucipop (or is it cicupop, or maybe ch-ch-ch-chia-pop?) and make sure you
have an appropriate line in /etc/inetd.conf for the pop server. [o.k. I
lied -- I have a hard time being completely serious at this time of the
day...]
If you've already installed a pop daemon on the linux box, then most
likely you just forgot the line in /etc/inetd.conf -- make sure if there's
one there that it isn't commented out.
