My X problems only occured when I was using a resource-intensive WM like E
or KDE, and I usually had at least 3 xterms open as well as Netscape. I
haven't had the problems under fvwm (my wm of choice). I also made a
concious effort to go through and change my boot options to cut down on the
amount of processes running (of course, I accidently killed off xfs, which
was a bad thing ;-) ). After cutting down on the amount of things running,
applying all of the RH errata, switching my wm back to fvwm (which probably
wasn't needed at this point), and restartinf xfs, I was fine.
I believe Derek Had some problems wit X after installing the drivers as
well. Derek?
