An addition to my SAMBA story - smbmount (mount -t smbfs) takes a workgroup
option (workgroup=<newdomain>), letting you mount a directory in a different
domain. I've now got a Linux machine set up to allow controlled transfers
between the two domains by having a directory in each mounted.
Thanks to all how suggested I try to figure out how to do this.
