too advanced for Windoze to deal with. There are 7 patches that I need to
apply to Windoze every time I have to reinstall it on an FIC VA503+
motherboard. The OS can't take advantage of some of the more advanced
features, like the 1MB of L2 cache, the IDE controllers, IRQ assignment,
etc.

I got that on my current system (AMD K6-2 400 MHz, 128 MB RAM, FIC
mainboard). I spent some time on the phone with Microsoft. They
eventually
blamed the motherboard and told me to shove off. Thanks, MS!
