I have no problem believing that. Some books are keepers. As I said,
"timeless". Myself, I've got the 20th Anniversary Edition, which includes
some new material, and Mr. Brooks's commentary on what has changed -- and what
has not.
Again, I highly recommend it to anyone who doesn't already have a copy.
Personally, I think it should be required reading for all computer engineers.
You should be able to find it fairly easily. A quick check shows Amazon.com
has it in stock; I'm sure others do as well.
