[P.S. In case you were wondering what relevance this has to this mailing
list, I document my troubles with MediaOne for those who may be interested
in their service, as this is a topic that comes up often on this list. I'm
still generally pretty happy with the service, I must say; but they do
seem to manage to do something fairly brain-dead at least every other
month or so, requiring about an hour out of my day on the phone with tech
support to get it fixed. Fairly small price to pay (in addition to the
$40/mo of course) for roughly T1 speeds to my desktop.... :) ]
