I have never had an IP change after an outage; only after MediaOne had
reorganized the segment I was on. They're using either a /20 or /22
subnet mask (I forget now which it was), and in each case, I'm on a
completely different subnet than the one I was on before. So I doubt this
would help, but thanks anyway!
