Ayup!  Raytheon is like that too.  But let me ask this, did any machine in th
at secret lab have a tape drive, floppy, or other writeable and removable 
media.  Did they chack everyone leaving the building for classified materials. 
How easy would it have been to leave the building with a floppy disk,
paper-printout, etc.

I saw first hand both in the Navy and at Raytheon how poor security is, and 
this is the government whose telling us they know about security!

Read "The Puzzle Palace", it's all about the inside scoop on the NSA, even 
their security is a joke in this manner.

You may not have has root, but you had relatively unchecked access to 
classified data that you *could* have easily removed from the premises.

(Note: I'm not saying every facility has to have cavity searches before 
entering or leaving, just merely pointing out that, as Ben stated earlier, 
restricting root access is not the end-all to security).
