Netscape Navigator for web browsing... it seems to be much more stable if
you use it as a browser only. I use pine for e-mail, because (IMO) there
simply isn't a better e-mail client around. Pine is very feature-rich and
easy to use.

AFAIK, you can use spell checking with Pine (via the alternate editor
command), and attachments are simple as pie.
