Heres what my drive was like before resizing (and still is after trying to
resize (didn't give me any errors at the time)

Disk geometry: 0-3098.8 megabytes
Minor Start End Type Filesystem Flags
1 0.0 7.9 primary ext2 boot
2 7.9 3098.8 extended
5 7.9 1425.4 logical ext2
6 1425.4 1673.4 logical linux-swap
7 1673.5 2705.1 logical ext2

I had had another partition (8) at the end but deleted it now what I
wanted to do was resize 7 to fill up the whole space so i ran "resize 7
1673.5 3098.8" it took a few seconds then returned to the
(parted) prompt. Now when I run e2fsck I get this:

The filesystem size (according to the superblock) is 294912 blocks
The physical size of the device is 264088 blocks
Either the superblock or the partition table is likely to be corrupt!

And I've noticed that sometimes when I create files they dissapear after a
few seconds or a few minutes.

Could anyone help me get this fixed this? If theres any more information
you would need to help me I'll be more than happy to provide it.
