First off, please *DO NOT* send general messages to the
[EMAIL PROTECTED] list. That list, as its name implies, is for
announcements only. Use [EMAIL PROTECTED] for general discussion. Thank
you.

What do you mean by "issues"?
If you mean "security holes", the stock Red Hat Apache config is pretty
secure, because it doesn't do much. Once you start adding things, it is very
easy to add something which opens you up to remote attack. This is the case
with any network software on any platform. So make sure you understand the
implications of what you're doing before you do it.
Be sure to monitor Red Hat's "Errata" updates section on their webpage, and
install any security-related fixes. In particular, any Linux 2.2.x kernel
before 2.2.16 has a nasty bug in the code controlling the release of system
privileges.

The processor should be just fine. The hard drive should be okay, too, so
long as you install only a minimal set of packages from the Red Hat CD set.
The full install will fill that 1 GB and then some, I believe. And, while
that drive is large enough for the system, you may find yourself wanting more
hard drive space for web content storage or server logs in the future. The
amount of RAM may be an issue, depending on what you're doing.

Assuming there is a way to connect to SQL MS Server from Linux, yes. MS has
a reputation for, shall we say, not focusing on interoperability.
