Jim,
I run a small intranet server on the same LAN as yours.
I have a P100, w/ 32MB RAM. I have a larger hard disk,
but that's because I also use it as an intranet FTP server,
file server, & desktop. I have some web pages which
get their data from file exported from M$ Access.
The only slowness comes when I am using Netscape
on the desktop, and serving files via Samba, and
serving PERL-CGI web pages from a database.
