Check the SMB-HOWTO on www.linuxdoc.org
Especially note the part about how you need to make a change in the
registry's of the Win systems that you will be mounting your linux drive(s) on.
There are three RPM's you need to install. They are all called samba-*.rpm
Whenever you make changes to your /etc/smb.conf file you'll need to
restarts smbd.
To restartd SMB, use the commands:
$ /etc/rc.d/init.d/smb stop
$ /etc/rc.d/init.d/smb start
Hope this heolps... check the Howto.
