Recently as I make my in-roads from my OS/2 desktop, which is still my primary, to
Linux, I've been playing with various programs to
use on Linux to replace my OS/2 ones. Recently I had been looking at Fax software and
by coincidence the Fax software package I've
been using on my OS/2 box for years is now available for Linux. It is called PMFax,
and although I have not tried the Linux version yet,
and even if it is only half as good as the OS/2 version, it will be a great program.
It can act as your Fax package, and your answering
machine for your phone.
The reason I am telling you this is that Keller Group just recently offered all the
OS/2 customer's half off on the price for the Linux
version, $49 dollars instead of $100, but the offer is only good till November 15th.
As you can read from below I asked them if this offer
could be passed on, in fact I asked if it could be passed on to this group, and I was
told that it would be fine, just mention me by my full
name, if you choose to get the package, "Robert Sean Hartnett" with the discount.
If you go to their web page you can down load a lite version, as they call it, to see
if you like it. No expiration date, just limited in its
functions. Judging by what I have seen in Fax packages available for Linux, I bought
it untried, but I am not worried due to past
experience with the product and the company.

Yes, that would be fine. We've had several such requests, and it is
