I have the same problem here at work where I use exmh and
I am sent an HTML or Word or RTF or documents with Windows-1252
font (or whatever the hell it is). I have to extract the
message to a file, then edit the file to delete the headers,
then (in some cases), uudecode it, and then apply the proper
decoder ring program to read it - if it's available.

IOW, it's a lot easier if plain text was sent...
