Mozilla releases M18 and prior did not support SSL "out of the box". You
could add it in with a third-party package, tho.
Mozilla release 0.6 and 0.7 do appear to support SSL "out of the box". So
do recent nightly builds (look for "Mtrunk" directories in
ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly).
