Well, I've installed SQL-Ledger at home to play with.  
http://www.sql-ledger.com.  Even written in Perl, and under the GPL.  
Haven't really done much with it (since I don't do business accounting), 
just was looking for something we could say to businesses existed (i.e. 
remove one more reason not to go to linux).
