I would just like to take a moment to thank RL for writing a
well-thought-out response to NPR's use of proprietary audio formats.
There are several radio stations which formerly used RealAudio to
broadcast on the web which now only use MS formats, and have lost me
as a listener for that reason (since I only listened while at work).
Rob, I'd like to ask your permission to snip the good bits of that
letter, in order to send them to the management of those other
stations that I once listened to.
