Yeah, I do...
I think it would be a very effective idea. I went to a model railroad
show recently, and even though I have no means or interest in putting
in a G-scale garden railroad at home, I got to chatting with one of
the guys who had. He gave me a "business" card for the New Hampshire
Garden Railway club. I still have it. I still have a point of contact
and a web site that I can visit, or point other potentially interested
people to it. To me, it seems to be VERY effective in getting the
word out AND earning/maintaining "mind share".
